Join the National Zoo and explore big, small, tall, and everything in between in a virtual event.
From the National Zoo: In this field trip, kids will practice identifying what is big, medium, and small. With the help of the National Zoo's Asian elephants and the Black and rufous elephant shrew, kids will also become familiar with other measurement terms such as longer, shorter, taller, bigger, and smaller.
"Get a Head Start with the Smithsonian" is a series of high-energy music and movement field trips to the National Zoo developed by educators from across the Smithsonian in cooperation with the National Head Start Association to engage young children ages 0-5.
