From The Durham Museum: Each week during the school year, Museum LIVE! brings 30 minutes of engaging, fun and educational content straight to your home. This broadcast-style show includes segments featuring guest speakers from an incredible lineup of internationally recognized organizations and Smithsonian partners. We’ll also bring you a behind-the-scenes look at Durham Museum exhibits and artifacts, as well as cultural connections to the community. Whether you are joining us from the Omaha region, Greater Nebraska/Iowa, the nation at large, or internationally, we hope you’ll join us week after week for new content, new experiences and new adventures!

This week, Great Plains Traditions. When you think about the history of Nebraska and other Great Plains states, what symbols come to mind? Corn? Wheat? Bison? Covered Wagons? We have it all, here at The Durham Museum, and we can’t wait to share some of these traditional stories with you this week.
