Explore inspiring women scientists past and present, the challenges they overcame, and how we can support diversity in STEM.

From CMU Museum of Cultural and Natural History: Learn about several female scientists like late-blooming Rachel Holloway Lloyd, rulebreaker Marie Curie, Mildred Cohn and Gerty Cori (both fought gender and religious prejudice) and current inventors like Paula Hammond. We will discuss the characteristics of these successful women, the barriers women in science continue to face and how we can encourage diversity in STEM fields!
